MY EXPERIENCE

SUBMIT YOUR QUESTION - CLICK HERE

Don't be afraid to ask your trainer some questions, after all, you are paying for it.

Just because the person has an ad in the yellow pages or in the local newspaper, doesn't mean they have the experience you need.
  1. How long have they been dog training
  2. How many dogs have they trained
  3. Are they familiar with your breed of dog
  4. Where did they learn to be a dog trainer
  5. Who was there instructor and what is his/her name
  6. What has he or she accomplished in the dog industry
  7. Do they do this on a part time basis or full time. Remember if it's part time your service is also part time.
  8. What methods do they use. STAY AWAY FROM, YOU KNOW WHO.
  9. Don't bother asking for references. Do you really think they will give names of people that are not happy
  10. What about a guarantee. Are they afraid to offer one because they know they can't help you?

The bottom line is do your homework.
